Free is Not a Four Letter Word

ebookYou work hard on your service and marketing strategy every single day for one reason, to make money.  That fact is completely understandable, but it doesn’t necessarily mean that you can’t work to dramatically increase your traffic by giving away something to your prospects and customers for free.

There is a very good chance that you have competitors out there who have already secured trust in a good portion of the market share.  If you want to be able to get some of those prospects to give your service a try, you’ve got to make it worth their while.   Sales and specials will attract some attention, but there is really no better way of attracting a large number of new prospects then offering them something that they can really use.

Putting together some high quality, useful content into an easy to digest e-book, video or tutorial that is relevant to your service or niche is a great way to draw in new prospects.  You’ll be giving prospects an opportunity to see exactly what you are capable of and that is a great way to instill confidence and increase conversions.  This particular phase of your marketing strategy will take a bit more time and effort than generating content or updating social media accounts but if done well, the investment of time will be well worth it.

You can take this phase of your marketing even one step further by openly encouraging people who partake in your offer to share the info with their friends and contacts.   With what ultimately amounts to a modest investment of work, you can drive a tremendous amount of new traffic to your site and at the same time give them an excellent reason to give your service a try the next time they are in need.
