Make Use of All Forms of Media Part II

Old-Movie-CameraJust a few days back we talked about taking your business blog posts to a higher level and maximizing your efforts by including relevant and interesting photographs.  Now it’s time to take the idea of adding visuals to your business blog one step further with video.

Adding regular video content is a great marketing strategy that helps to spice up the content of your blog and really engage your subscribers.  Video allows you to address a wider array of topics regarding your business without having to worry about exceedingly long entries on your blog.

You can film business processes to give your customers and prospects an inside look at how your product is made or how your service is implemented.  Many prospects want to know as much as possible about a company prior to making the commitment to purchase and a video can readily provide the transparency that they are looking for.

The video medium also gives you an opportunity to conduct interviews with industry experts or address questions about your product or service in a more personal manner than you could with just text.  The entire process of filming and uploading an intriguing video to your blog may take even less time than constructing and editing a regular text post and it could result in much more attention.

Information expressed on video may be easier for visitors to your blog to digest than the very same information in text.  This will not only help to turn a one time visitor into a regular visitor, but it will also make them more likely to share that content with their contacts.

And it might also convert them into a new customer.
